Jenna Goes Fishing
We have a creek that runs through our pasture and Jenna loves to swim, fetch and remove all river rocks from the bottom. This creek is also one where the Salmon spawn each year starting in late September.
At about 6 months, I had Jenna down in the pasture and for the first time she noticed that her creek had been invaded by these big red splashing creatures. What a time I had trying to get her to quit chasing Salmon up and down the creek!!!
Jenna thought it was a wonderful game but she is so fast that I was concerned that she might actually catch one, although I have no idea what she would do if she did.

Jenna Liked to dive off the cement blocks left after the bridge had been washed out.
Her first experience with walking in the creek
chasing Salmon up the creek
Jenna looking for Salmon to chase
When she wasn't in a hurry she would wade in to the shallow water rather than dive in:^)
Jenna stalking the salmon
Another game Jenna loves is to drop her ball in the creek and then chase it
You can't imagine how many balls have gotten lost going to far down stream and she got distracted while the ball disappeared
Jenna dives in the creek to get her own River Rocks, some of those rocks weight a couple pounds. Once she find the right rock she takes it out of the creek to play with.
Many of her river rocks end up back at the house, here she is playing with one she brought up from the creek. The screams at the rock, attacks it and drags it all over the yard. Over the years she has worn down key canine teeth from collecting her rocks.
Dobermans are said to hate water and some won't even go outside to potty when it's raining, but my Jenna must be part fish. She loves water! The photos below look like we are practicing water torture on her but she won't let you water plants or was the car without attacking the water from the hose. No matter where she is, if she hears the water being turned on she is like a speeding bullet to find which hose is running water.
She attacks the water and we have to try and keep her away from the car so she doesn't scratch the paint
She also screams and carries on like a wild child as she attacks the water
We finally had to keep her locked in the back yard when trying to wash the car, it was almost impossible with her attacking the water and she would give up and go away on her own.
